A season to be proud of.

There is A LOT to be proud of if you are a CSU RAM fan or player this season. The ladies just returned from a trip to Madison, Wisconsin for the WWCHL Regional Championships. There they faced the University of Minnesota in the championship game, narrowly losing 3-2 in overtime. Four players from CSU were named to the All-Tournament rosters, including goaltender Meghan Nelson who stopped a staggering 49 of 52 shots in the championship game.

First team all-tournament - Forward Molly Sparks from Minnesota, Forward Molly O'Neil from Colorado State, Forward Marisa Danos from University of Colorado, Defenseman Jessica Foley from Wisconsin, Defenseman Jessica Moon from Lindenwood-Belleville, and Goaltender Lydia Norwig from Minnesota.

Second team all-tournament - Forward Avery Kaufman from Colorado State, Forward Reagan Fuller from Lindenwood-Belleville, Forward Laura Gengler from Minnesota, Defenseman Madison Ellis from Minnesota, Defenseman Nellie Brown from Colorado State, and Goaltender Meghan Nelson from Colorado State.

University of Minnesota downs Colorado State University in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Final ACHA League rankings are still to be determined. As we wait for those results, the CSU Rams would like to thank all the Family, Friends, Supporters, and Fans who supported the team this year. There is a bright future in store for these ladies, whether that’s on the ice or in the “real-world.” And they couldn’t have done it without your support. Stay tuned for news on some final items being offered for sale as well as the Final League Rankings.

This weekend is a very exciting and important weekend for CSU Women's Ice Hockey and it's players. With Rams playing across the country and the globe. To help you keep track of the action, here's whats going on.

Sun, Feb. 1 vs. Spain (Pre-Tournament) W 6-0
#14 Molly O’Neil is currently in Granada, Spain representing Team USA in the Winter World University Games. They have played two games so far, beating Spain in exhibition and narrowly losing to China in the first game of tournament play. Their next game is against Japan at 11 a.m. Eastern.

Boston Bound!
The rest of the team is in Boston as they plan to take on the University of Rhode Island, the University of Massachusetts, and Northeastern University. These are big games with final rankings coming up soon.
